The challenge: The client needed to increase the capacity and speed of loading and unloading different products (salt, sugar, pellets, iron ore, etc.) at different terminals. The ease and speed of moving equipment between terminals were essential for this project.

Our solution:

• Build a rigid structure on wheels including a 54″ x 41′-0″ belt conveyor with a capacity of 2000 MTPH and a feed bin for loader loading;
• Design a mobile bin with a folding conveyor to allow transport by trailer between the client’s different terminals;
• Design wheel modules allowing longitudinal, lateral, and circular movements according to the different required configurations.

Results:

• Quick, efficient startup that integrated perfectly with downstream equipment;
• Increased loading and unloading capacity for the different products handled;
• Achievement of the client’s handling performance and objectives.
