Our history
Vibrotech was founded in 1984 primarily as a consulting firm. Operations began in 1988 at the current plant in Plessisville. Vibrotech originally worked primarily in screening (Vibroscreen portable screens), sawmills, pulp and paper, and smelters. Experiencing unprecedented growth, the company expanded twice to a 20,000 square feet facilities. At the time, the company was certified for its welding processes and welders according to the standards of the Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB).
The company was then acquired in 1998 by the For-Min Group, which specialized in the wood and mining industry. Vibrotech was then acquired in 2003 by two investors as well as by the American company General Kinematics Co., which manufactured in vibrating equipment.
Vibrotech quickly developed an expertise in recycling, quarries and industrial processes. In order to offer even better customer service, the company implemented a quality control program, which initially adhered to ISO 9002: 1994, which is now ISO 9001: 2008.
In 2014, following the implementation of a succession plan, two senior employees with several years of experience within the company acquired Vibrotech. Ever since, the company’s new management team has remained relentlessly focused on offering exception quality and service to its customers.
